This distinction is essential when comparing genuine and replica Breitling movements.

How Chronographs Work

A chronograph is essentially a stopwatch integrated into a watch. Pushers normally start, stop and reset the timing mechanism, while subdials display elapsed time or running seconds depending on the movement and design.
